ORRINANCE No. 749 <br />By Mr. Zorn <br />AN ORDINANCE GIVING THE CONSENT OF THE VILT~AGE <br />OF HAYFIELD TO_THE REMOVAL OF SNOW E1ND ICE_ <br />FROM CERTAIN ROADS WITHIN THE VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has tentatively approved <br />a Snow and Ice Removal program for the years 1961 - 19624 and <br />WHEREAS, a number of the roads from which it is proposed to remove <br />snow and ice are Village streets and also County roads known by the following <br />names and lying between the limits designated, viz; <br />Road <br />From <br />To <br />Highland Road <br />Wilson Mills Road <br />Lander Road <br />Ridgebury Blvd. <br />Westerly Village Line <br />Dander Road _ <br />Wilson Mills Road <br />S.O.M. Center Road <br />Easterly Village-Line <br />Southerly Village Line <br />Within Mayfield Village Limits <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, <br />STATE OF OHIO,, THAT: _ <br />Sec. 1. That it is declared to be of public interest that the consent <br />of the Village by and such consent is hereby given to the removal of snow and <br />ice on the above mentioned highways between the termini aforesaid. <br />Sec. 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety; such <br />necessity exists by reason of the fact that snow and sleet storms may soon <br />create hazardous conditions on these roads, in consequence whereof great public <br />inconvenience would be suffered and public travel endangered and delayed, <br />Sec. 3. That the Clerk be, and he is hereby, directed to furnish to <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County Ohio, a certif ied copy <br />of this Ordinance immediately upon the taking effect thereof. <br />Passed this 16th day of October, 1961. <br />Attests O/~i1"'~~ `~Y. ~il/1~~~~-c~/~ <br />~ ~/'/~-Mayor - President of Council <br />CS L) rk <br />
