ORDINANCE No. 756 By Mr. Mason AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3` OF ORDINANCE NO. 298, AS Ab1ENDED BY ORDINANCES NOSE 697 AND 731, BY INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF THE BUTLDING,INSPECTOR & SERVICE DIRECTOR AND LABORERS,IN THE. SERVICE DEPARTMENT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL•OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, THAT: . - Sec, 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 298, entitled: 10An Ordinance Combining the Position of Building Inspector, Maintenance Supervisor of Sewer Pumps, Custodian of the Village Hall, and School Guards Under the Title of Building Inspector & Service Directory, as amended by Ordinances Nos. 697 and 731, is hereby amended to .read as,f ollows: "Sec, 3, Beginning with February 1, 1962, the Compensation of the Building Inspector & Service Director shall be at the rate of $44~~900 per year, but may. be changed from time to time by Council by Ordinance or Pesolution. An Assistant Building Inspector & Service Director, whose duties shall be to assist the Building Inspector & Service Director, shall be appointed by the Building Inspector & Service Director, subject to confirmation by vote of Councils and shall serve until removed by the Building Inspector ~. Service. Director, and shall, beginning with March 1st, 1961, be compensated at the rate of $5000,00 per year, but his compensation may be changed from time to.time by Council, by Ordinance or Resolution. The compensation of laborers employes to assist the Building Inspector & Service Director shall be at the rate of $1,85 ,per hour.P All building permit fees shall be paid into the Village Treasury." Sec® 2, This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency; measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welf are of the Village of Mayf field and its inhabitants in order to provide adequate compensation in order to obtain and retain the services of the of oresaid members of the Service Department, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of its passage.
