ORDINANCE No. 756 <br />By Mr. Mason <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3` OF ORDINANCE NO. 298, <br />AS Ab1ENDED BY ORDINANCES NOSE 697 AND 731, BY <br />INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF THE BUTLDING,INSPECTOR <br />& SERVICE DIRECTOR AND LABORERS,IN THE. SERVICE DEPARTMENT <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL•OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: . - <br />Sec, 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 298, entitled: 10An Ordinance <br />Combining the Position of Building Inspector, Maintenance Supervisor of <br />Sewer Pumps, Custodian of the Village Hall, and School Guards Under the <br />Title of Building Inspector & Service Directory, as amended by Ordinances <br />Nos. 697 and 731, is hereby amended to .read as,f ollows: <br />"Sec, 3, Beginning with February 1, 1962, the Compensation <br />of the Building Inspector & Service Director shall be at the rate of <br />$44~~900 per year, but may. be changed from time to time by Council <br />by Ordinance or Pesolution. An Assistant Building Inspector & <br />Service Director, whose duties shall be to assist the Building <br />Inspector & Service Director, shall be appointed by the Building <br />Inspector & Service Director, subject to confirmation by vote of <br />Councils and shall serve until removed by the Building Inspector <br />~. Service. Director, and shall, beginning with March 1st, 1961, be <br />compensated at the rate of $5000,00 per year, but his compensation <br />may be changed from time to.time by Council, by Ordinance or <br />Resolution. The compensation of laborers employes to assist the <br />Building Inspector & Service Director shall be at the rate of $1,85 <br />,per hour.P All building permit fees shall be paid into the Village <br />Treasury." <br />Sec® 2, This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency; measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welf are of the Village of Mayf field and its inhabitants in order to <br />provide adequate compensation in order to obtain and retain the services <br />of the of oresaid members of the Service Department, and this Ordinance shall <br />take effect and be in force from and after the date of its passage. <br />Passed this 19th day of February, 1962. <br />Attest; <br />~- <br />Mayor _ President of Council <br />(SEAL) <br />
