Ordinance No. 758 BY Mr® Gdedler AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE PLANNING & ZONING C(7MA'IISSION AND FIXING THE TENURE, COMPENSATION AND DUTIES.. THEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, THAT: SecF 1. There is hereby created, beginning as of February 1, 1962, the position of Assistant Secretary of the Planning & Zoning Commission, who shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the consent of a majority of members elected to Council, and may be removed at any time by an affirmative vote of a majority of members elected to Council. The Clerk of the Mayor 4's Court of the Village of Mayfield and the Clerk of the Service Department, who by ordinance may be one and the same person, may also serve as Assistant Secretary of the Planning & Zoning Commission and receive compensation for all of said positions, Sec. 2, The duties of the Assistant Secretary of the Planning & Zoning Commission shall be to assist the Secretary of said_Commission in the typing of Minutes,~papers, forms and documents and to do whatever secretarial work may be assigned by the Commission.,, Seco 3., The Assistant Secretary of the Planning & Zoning~.Commission shall receive compensation at t'ne rate of $450,00 per year, payabl:e_'in monthly installments, which compensation may be changed by the Council at any time, and such person shall be entitled to two weeks vacation with pay in each calendar year, Sec, 4s Tn.is ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, necessary for, the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welf are of the Village of Mayf field and its inhabitants, in order that proper personnel may be obtained to do the work of the Planning & Zoning Commission, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the date of its passage, gassed this 19th day of February, 1962.
