<br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK OF
<br />THE VIIZAGE OF- ~7AYFIELD ,TO, SNT£R INTO -,A, COPITRACT
<br />WITH THE P10RTHERN QHIO -PAVING, CC~P'ANY FOR_ PATCHING
<br />NND- SQRFACE TiLsATING .. OF RO$Z,SY LANE ~ . • -
<br />- WHEREAS, the Engineer of the Village of Mayfield has obtained bids for
<br />surface treating and patching of .Robley Dane; and.
<br />WHEREAS, the bid of the Northern Ohio Paving Company, a qualified bidder,
<br />to perform said work for the sum of $990.OU is determined by Council to be
<br />the lowes~C and best bid submitted. -
<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINEp BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD,
<br />Ct7YAHOG~a COUNTY QHIO, ~ THATa'` - _ - _ . - _. .. - _ _ - -- .- .
<br />-Sec. 1. All bids except that of the Northern Ohio Paving Company for
<br />patching and surface treatnffi of Robley 7Lane are hereby rejected.
<br />Sec.- 2.. The Mayor and the Clerk of the Village of Mayfield are hereby
<br />authorized to_.enter into a contract on behalf of the Village with the Northern -
<br />Ohio-Paving-Company for patching .and surface treating of Robley bane, with a
<br />double treatment, using 8C-3 liquid asphalt and 6 lb. stone, for--the sum of
<br />$990. UU,;:•according to the bid submitted by'the Norther~~Oho Paving Company.
<br />These is .hereby appropriated from the Village Treasi~r~ the' amount :necessary
<br />for the work specified in said contract. -

<br />Sec. 3. This ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure,,, necessary
<br />for the mediate preservation of the public peace,.health, safety•,and welfare
<br />of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, beeause of the .necessity of
<br />repairing said highway before the cold weather sets in, and this ordinance
<br />shall take effect and be is force from and after the date of its passage as
<br />an emergency measure., s~--
