CQ~?ANY FOR PATCHING <br />A~1D,SURFACF TREATING.OF WOBTON PARK DRIVE (BETWEEN <br />WILSON MILLS, ROAD,APID HEMINGWAY.,ROAD). -___ ..-..._ __ _. <br />` WHEREAS, the Tngineer of the Village of Mayfield has obtained bids for <br />surface treating and patching of Worton Park Drive (between Wilson Mills Road <br />and Hemingway Road; and _ <br />WHEREAS, the bid of the Northern Ohio paving Company, a qualified bidder, <br />to perform said work for the sum of $980.00 is_ ,determined by Council to be <br />the lowest and best bid submitted. ._ <br />~~.~.:~. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE, IT ORDAINED BY THE .;COIINCID OF THE VIiyLA.GE OF MAYFIBLD, <br />CUYAHOGA:.COUNTY _ QHIU,. ,THAT : : , .: _ - . <br />~^ - . Sec.~..l~. ,Elll .bids except that of the Northern Ohio Paving Company for <br />patching a~sd urface treating of Worton Park_Drive (between Wilson Mills Road <br />and Hemingway Road) are hereby rejected: _ ,, _ <br />dec. 2.. The Mayor and the Clerk of the Village; of Mayfield are hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the Village with the Northern <br />Ohio Paving Company. for patching and surface treating .of Worton Park Drive <br />( between Wilson Mills Road and Hemingway Road) ,with a, double treatment, using <br />RC-3 liquid asphalt and 6 lb, stone, for the gum of. $980. Q0, according to the <br />bid submitted by :.the Northern Ohio Paving Company. There is hereby appropriated <br />from the Village Treasury the amount necessary for the work specified in said <br />contraet~ ~ _ - ... .. .~ .. <br />-- <br />Sec. 3.. This ordinance is deemed to be an emergency measure, necessary= <br />for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health,. safety and welfare <br />of the Village of I~iayfield and its inhabitants, because of the necessity of <br />repairing said highway before the cold weather sets in, and this ordinance <br />shall take effect .and be in force from and,. after the date of its passage as <br />an emergency measure. <br />Passed this 20th day of August, 1962. <br />A <br />Mayor -President of.
