C~ f~ ~_ ~ ~! ,~ t~ AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 309, BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE TRAFFIC ON THE STREETS AND PUBLIC HIGHWAYS OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD,.BY AMENDING SECTION 17.PERTAINING TO DRIVING WHILE UNDER.THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL, NARCOTIC DRUGS.OR OPIATES, SECTION 22 PERTAINING TO DRIVING ON THE RIGHT HALF OF_THE ROADWAY, AND SECTION 37 PERTAINING T0. RIGHT-OF-WAY_WHEN TURNING TO LEFT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND,STATE OF OHIO,, THAT: ._ _ _. _ Sec. 1. Section 17 of Ordinance No. 309, beir_g an ordinance to reg- ulate traffic on the streets and public highways of the Village of Mayfield, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 17 - Driving or having physical control while under the influence of alcohol, narcotic drugs or opiates--penalty "(a) No person who is under the influence of alcohol, narcotic drugs or opiates, shall operate or be in actual physical control of any vehicle within the Village of Mayfield. "(b) Every person who is convicted of a violation of this section shall be punished by a f ine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment in the County or Municipal jail for not more than six (6) months, or both," Sec. 2. Section 22 of said Ordinance No. 309 is hereby amended to read as follows "Section 22 - Driving on Right Half of Roadway--Exceptions-- Upon all roadways of stiff ieient_width, a vehicle or trackless trolley shall be driven upon the right half of the roadway, except as follows:, "(a) When overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction, or when making a left turn under the rules governing such. movements; "(b) When an obstruction exists making it necessary to drive to the left of the center of the highway; provided, any person so doing shall yield the right- of-way to all vehicles traveling in the proper direction upon the unobstructed portion of the highway within such distance as to constitute an immediate hazard;
