Ido such contraction <br />joint shall be placed closer than 7-1/2 feet to a construction joint. In such <br />cases the construction joint shall take the place of -the contraction joint. <br />The contraction joint shall be of the i*npressecl t ;~~~e made by forming in the <br />surface of the slab a slot 1/~ inch •~rri de at the bottom a.nd ~~/8 inches aide at the <br />top.
