AMENDING PARAGRAPH <br />1603.32 ADOPTING-CERTAIN.PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO CERTIFI- <br />CATES OF OCCUPANCY FOR.MULTTPLE.DWELLINGS, AND BY ADDING <br />PARAGRAPH 1603.321 PROVIDING FOR REVOCATION OF CERTIFICATES <br />OF OCCUPANCY .. ... . <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFTELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT; ~ ~ ... .... <br />Sec. 1. Paragraph 1603.32 of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 726, entitled; <br />",An Ordinance Adopting the Regional Building Code, Applying to Structures Not <br />Governed by Ordinance No. 465, Entitled 'The Dwelling House Code of the <br />Village of Mayf ield¢, and Repealing A11 Ordinances and Parts Thereof as are <br />Inconsistent Herewith" is hereby amended to read as,follows; <br />"1603.32 Special Provisions Applicable to Certif icates of Occup <br />for Multiple Dwellings Only. The following provisions shall apply to <br />Certificates of Occupancy for Multiple Dwellings; <br />(a) The original Certif icate of Occupancy shall be granted by the <br />Building Off icial if he finds upon inspection that the building or other <br />structure is in compliance with the provisions of this Code and all other <br />laws, ordinances, rules and regulations applicable thereto. The certif i- <br />cate shall state the name and address of the owner, and, if the owner <br />does not reside on the premises, the name and address of the resident <br />agent in charge of the building or structure, and the name and address <br />of the non-resident agent, if any. <br />(b) The Certificate of Occupancy shall state the period for which <br />it is.-issued. Said certif icate shall not.be valid beyond the last day <br />of December in the year for which it is issued. A renewal certificate shall <br />be obtained each year before February lst,subject to provisions of (a ). <br />(c) Fees. The fee for a Certificate of Occupancy issued upon the <br />completion._.of an, apartment building shall be $2.50 for each suite, but <br />not to exceed $100.00 per building. The fee for Certificate of Occupancy <br />for a new structure issued after June_30th of any year for the remainder <br />of such calendar year shall be $1..25 for each dwelling unit, but not <br />to exceed $50.00 for each building. The fee for the annual renewal <br />of a certificate of occupancy shall be $1.25 for each suit, but not to <br />exceed $50.00 per building. Such fees shall accompany the application <br />for certificate of occupancy or renewal thereof and shall be non- <br />ref undable. <br />
