THE CITY OF I,YNDHURST, .THE CITY OF <br />HAYFIELD HEIGHTS, ,AND THE VILLAGE. OF HIGI~i].,AND .HEIGHTS <br />FOR .THE , IMPROVE~i4ENT OF, RIDGEBURY BOULEVARD BETt~TEEN , <br />RICHMOND,ROAD AND SOI~4 CENTER. ROAD. BY THE CONSTRUCTION <br />OF A 9 INCH REINFORCED CONCRETE PAVEMENT 29 FEET WIDE <br />( BACK TO BACK OE_.QI,I~B71'YPE 3 CURB, INCLUDING ROAD4TAY <br />GRADING AND DRAINAGE, PAVEMENT UNDER DRAINAGE, PURCHASE <br />OF NECESSARY.RIGHT OF SdAY, AND OTHER WORK. INCIDENTAL THERETO. <br />WHEREAS, this Council deems it necessary to join. with the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, the City of Lyndhurst, the City <br />of Mayfield Heights, and the Village of Highland Heights for the improvement <br />of Ridgebury. Boulevard between Richmond Road and SOM Center Road, by the <br />construction of a 9 inch reinforced concrete pavement 29 feet wide ( back to <br />back of curb), type 3 curb, including roadway grading and drainage, pavement <br />under drainage, purchase of necessary right of way, and other work incidental <br />thereto; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners and the Councils of said <br />Municipalities have informally agreed to construct said improvement under a <br />joint agreement entered into pursuant to Sections 715.02 and 727.41 and any <br />other applicable statutes of the Ohio Revised Code; and <br />4,~FiEREAS, Council has determined that, on the basis of the percentage <br />of the total number of lineal feet of center line of Ridgebury Boulevard between <br />Richmond Road and SOM Center Road, the portion of the improvement ( less the <br />construction of a drainage culvert under Ridgebury Boulevard within the City <br />of Lyndhurst) in the Village of Mayfield is ten percent and it a:s agreed that <br />the Village of Mayfield shall pay the County of Cuyahoga twenty-five percent <br />of the cost of the portion of said improvement determined to lie within the <br />Village of Mayfieldtis limits, with similar provisions being made as to the <br />other municipalities herein involved. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF I~JAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, THAT:. .. _. _ <br />Sec. 1. That this Council hereby determines it to be necessary and <br />proper to enter into an agreement with the Board_of County Commissioners of <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, the City of `Lyndhurst, the City of riayfield Heights, <br />and the Village of Highland Heights, for the improvement of Ridgebury Boulevard <br />between Richmond Road and SOM Center Road, by the construction of a 9 inch <br />reinforced concrete pavement 29 feet wide ( back to back of cubb), type 3 cubb, <br />
