ORDINANCE No. 849 <br />By Mr. Shaw <br />AN ORDINANCE AI~IFNDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE N0. 298 , <br />AS ,AMENDED, BY INCREASING THE COiYIPENSATION OF THE <br />BUILDING INSPECTOR & SERVICE DIRECTOR AND HIS ASSISTANT <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILZAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT; . <br />Sec. 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 298, entitled; "An Ordinance <br />Combining the Position of Building Inspector, Maintenance Supervisor of Sewer <br />Pumps, Custodian of the Village Hal], and School Guard, Under the Title of <br />Building Inspector & Service Director", as Amended by Ordinances Nos. 697, 731, <br />756, 765 and 794, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Sec. 3. Beginning with July 1, 1964, the compensation of the <br />Building Inspector & Service Director shall be at the rate of $4498.00 <br />per year,.and at the rate of $2.90 for each hour in excess of 44 per week, <br />but may be changed from time to time by Council by Ordinance or Resolution. <br />An Assistant Building Inspector & Service Director, whose duties shall <br />be to assist the Building Inspector & Service Director, shall be appointed <br />by the Building Inspector & Service Director, subject to confirmation by <br />vote of.Council,.and shall serve until removed by the Building Inspector & <br />Service Director, and shall, beginning with July 1, 1964, be compensated <br />at the rate of $5,500.00 per year, but his compensation may be changed <br />from time to time by Council by ordinance. or resolution. The Assistant <br />Building Inspector & Service Director shall also be paid the sum of $2.40 <br />for each hour worked in excess of 44 hours in any one week. The compen- <br />sation of laborers and other employees, to assist the Building_Inspector 8~ <br />Service Director, except for the Clerk whose compensation is fixed by <br />another ordinance, shall be at the rate of $1.85 per hour. All building <br />permit fees shall be paid into the Village Treasury.'r <br />Sec. 2.
