RESOLUTION NOo 86-36 <br />INTRODUCED BYa Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION NOo 86-24 <br />GRANTING A SPECIAL PERMIT FOR THE USE OF THE <br />PREMISES AT 731 BETA DRIVE AS A BUSINESS COLLEGE <br />BY BRYANT & STRATTON BUSINESS INSTITUTE AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, adopted <br />Resolution Noo 86-24 on May 19, 1986 granting a Special Permit for the <br />use of the property at 731 Beta Drive as a business college by Bryant <br />& Stratton Business Institute; and <br />WHEREAS, since the adoption of the aforesaid Resolution the <br />Mayor and Council have learned that Bryant & Stratton Business <br />Institute no longer desires to operate its school at the aforesaid <br />location; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council are desirous of cancelling <br />the Special Permit previously granted for the said property; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Resolution No. 86-24 adopted by the Council of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, on Nlay 19, 1986 is hereby repealed in its <br />entirety thereby cancelling the Special Permit granted for the use of <br />the property at 731 Beta Drive as a business college by Bryant & <br />Stratton Susiness Institute. <br />Section 2s That the Council finds and determines that all <br />f ormal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committeesp resulting in such <br />f ormal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121022 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 3s This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for <br />the reason that the Special Permit cancelled herein will cause th-e <br />property to again be conforming to the zoning requirements of the <br />Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio.
