:a <br />,? . <br />; <br />RESULUTION N0. 86-45 <br />INTRODUCED BYo Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING DEPENDABLE PAINTING COMPANY <br />TO BE ^1HE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR PAINTING OF <br />THE VILLAGE HALL, FIRE STATION AND SENIOR CENTER <br />COMMUNITY ROOM, AUTHORIZ ING -THE PIAYOR AND DIRECTOR <br />OF FINANCE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH SAID <br />BIDDER IN AN ANiOUNT NOT TO EXCEED EIGHT THOUSAND <br />SEV EN HUNDRED NINETY DOLLARS ($8,790.00), <br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERG EN CY m <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by law, Dependable Painting Company is <br />hereby declared to be the lowest and best bidc7er for painting the <br />Village Hallo fire station and Senior Center Community Room. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Director of Finance are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Dependable <br />Painting Company in an amount not to exceed Eight Thousancl Seven <br />Hundred Ninety Dollars ($8,790.00) provided that said contract is in <br />accordance with the specifications upon which the bid was received. <br />Section 3, All other bids received are hereby rejected. <br />Section 4. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 5. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />for the reason that the contract authorized herein is necessary to <br />maintain the governmental buildings. It shall therefore take effect <br />immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than four <br />(4) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise <br />at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />Richard E?tzler, C`ou-rrC?`il"PT_e_'§ ident
