RESO?U?ION N0. 86- 47 <br />INTRODUCED BYs Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />ENGINEER TO INCLUDE THE INSTALLATION OF WATER <br />LINES AS DESIGNED AND RECONiME1VDED BY THE VILLAGE <br />ENGINEER AND APPROVED BY THE CITY OF CLEVELAND <br />WATER DEPARTMENT IN THE PLANS FOR THE IMPROVEN'IENT <br />OF WILSON MILLS ROAD FROM RICHMOND ROAD TO S.O.M. <br />CENTER ROAD IN THE CITIES OF RICHMOND HEIGHTS, <br />HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, AND THE VILLAG E OF MAYFIELD AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the proposed improvement of Wilson Mills Road is <br />being jointly financed by the Federal government, Cuyahoga County and <br />the affected municipalities; and <br />WHEREP,S, in order to have the water lines included in the <br />improvement of Wilson Mills Road each municipality will assume one <br />hundred percent (1000) of the cost of construction and the entire cost <br />of the design engineering for the water line; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THATt <br />Section le The Cuyahoga County Engineer is hereby <br />requested to include the installation of water lines as designed and <br />recommended by the Village Engineer and approved by the City of <br />Cleveland Water Department in the plans and specifications for the <br />improvement of Wilson Mills Road. <br />Section 2. Niayfield Village agrees to assume one hundred <br />percent (1000) of the cost of the construction for the water lines and <br />the entire cost of design engineering for the water lines to the <br />extent that the same are located within Mayfield Village. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for <br />the reason that the addition to the plans and specifications as <br />authorized herein is necessary for the said plans to be approved by <br />the State of Ohio before the contract can be let for bid. It shall <br />therefore take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote <br />of not less than four (4) members elected to Council and approval by
