<br />This contract 'between the Board of Cotmtq Commissionere, Coi.mty oP
<br />Diyahoga, Ohio (hereinafter called the "QOUN'PY") and the Villege of Mayfield
<br />(hereinefter called the "OOhPfUNITy"), .
<br />WITNESSETH THAT:

<br />WHEREAS, the CWNIT, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 3ectfon 4931.42
<br />(A) and Resolution No. 523321 as emended by Reaolution No. 526327,
<br />incorporated herein by reference, established the 9-1-1 Plsnning Conmittee,
<br />effective July 1, 1985, to prepare a County-wide 9-1-1 Final Plan; aiui
<br />WHEREAS, the 9-1-1 Planning Cormnittee, pursuant to Ohio Revised
<br />Code Section 4931.43 (C), adopted the Final County-wide 9-1-1 Plan on March
<br />24, 1986; and .
<br />WHEREAS, Lhe QOLiNTY, Cleveland City Coimcil, end legislative
<br />authoritiea of municipalities and townships, including Cleveland City
<br />Council, representing eighty-six percent of Ci.yahoga Coumty's population,
<br />approved the Final County-wide 9-1-1 Plan, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code
<br />Section 4931.44; and
<br />WEERES, the COUNTY declared the Final Coimty-wide Plan to be in
<br />effect on May 27, 1986 by Resolution No. 620321, as emended on June 9, 1986
<br />by Reaolution No. 621326, incorporated herein by reference; atid
<br />WHEREAS, the COUNTY has established the 9-1-1 Finaneial Assistance
<br />Program (hereinafter called the "PROG2AM") to assiat the OGrfitUNITY in
<br />implememting the 9-1-1 System and, specifically, to assiat in the initisl
<br />costs of the Automatic Nunber ldentification and Automatic Location
<br />Identification equipment located at the Primary Public Safety Answering
<br />Point (hereinafter called the "PRIMARY p3pp"); and
<br />WHEREAS, the COUN'Iy has awarded the OOhMUNITY $1,788.50 by the
<br />COUNTY'3 Resolution No. 621327. dated June 9, 1986, incorporated herein by
<br />referenee; snd
<br />WHEREAS, the QONPIUNITY has accepted the award by signing and
<br />returning the Crant Award Notification, which is incorporated herein end
<br />attached hereto as bchibit 1. The Contract permits the COMMLiNITy to receive
<br />financial assiatance from the QOtJN'I'Y should the 00[YPiUNITY procure the
<br />PRIMARI' PSAP equipment. This OQN'I'RACf does not obligate the OOrMUNITY to
<br />procure eaid equipment.'
