M.V. RESOLUTION NO. 84-20 Page -2- Section 1. The Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, hereby ratifies the actions of the Mayor and Director of Finance in purchasing materials and labor for the installation of electricity and lighting equipment for Wiley Park as hereinafter itemizede Tri Electric Supply 5,549.18 Cleveland Electric Illuminating 1,742076 Desberg's United Electric - Pepco 837.40 Albert Mierke 204.00 TOTAL: 8,333034 Section 2. The Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, further determines that the purchase of the aforementioned materials and labor constituted a true emergency for the reasons set forth hereinabove. Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such f ormal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compli- ance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessp,ry for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereto. It shall therefore take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than four (4) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time_?llowed by law.
