RESOLUTION N0. 84-32 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />" A RESOLUTION URGING THE GENERAL <br />ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO TO <br />ENACT S.B. 321 PERTAINING TO THE <br />DILEMMA OF MISSING CHILDREN. <br />WHEFEAS, S.B. 321 has been introduced into the General <br />Assembly of the State of Ohio; and <br />WHEREAS, S.B. 321 pertains to the continuing problem of <br />missing children; and <br />WHEREAS, S.B. 321 would create a state-wide computer system <br />to list names of missing children and would further provide for imme- <br />diate police reponse to complaints concerning missing children; and <br />WHEREAS, S.B. 321 woulcl establish a procedure for locating <br />missing children thereby increasing the prospects for their speedy <br />return to their families and also alleviating the agony of the <br />parents; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />believe that S.B. 321 should be enacted into law; now, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF NIAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section lo The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, urge the members of the General Assembly of the 5tate of Ohio to <br />enact S.B. 321 at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward copies of this Resolution to Governor Richard F. <br />Celeste, anci to all members of the Ohio General Assembly from Cuyahoga <br />County. <br />Section 3.
