- RESOLUTION N0. 83- 4 <br />INTRODUCED BYs Mayor Robert G. Beebe <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZ ING THE <br />DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO RETAIN THE <br />SERVICES OF SUCH ASSISTANTS AS ARE <br />NECESSARY. TO CONDUCT AND DOCUMENT <br />AN INVENTORY OF MUNICIPAL ASSETS <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined, upon the <br />advice of the Director of Finance, that a complete inventory of all <br />municipal assets is essential to the effective management of the <br />municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has advised the Mayor and <br />Council that he has persons available experienced in conducting and <br />documenting such an inventory; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF r'lAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THATe <br />Section 1. The Council hereby authorizes the Director of <br />Finance to retain the services of such assistants as are necessary to <br />conduct and document an inventory of all municipal assets. <br />Section 2, The assistants hired by the Director of <br />Finance shall be compensated at the rate of Six Dollars ($6.00) per <br />hour on an as needed basis. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements, including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />for the reason that the services authorized herein are essential to <br />maintain effective governmental services. It shall therefore take <br />effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative- vote of not less <br />than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or <br />
