- RESOLUTION N0. 83- 4 INTRODUCED BYs Mayor Robert G. Beebe A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZ ING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO RETAIN THE SERVICES OF SUCH ASSISTANTS AS ARE NECESSARY. TO CONDUCT AND DOCUMENT AN INVENTORY OF MUNICIPAL ASSETS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined, upon the advice of the Director of Finance, that a complete inventory of all municipal assets is essential to the effective management of the municipality; and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has advised the Mayor and Council that he has persons available experienced in conducting and documenting such an inventory; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF r'lAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THATe Section 1. The Council hereby authorizes the Director of Finance to retain the services of such assistants as are necessary to conduct and document an inventory of all municipal assets. Section 2, The assistants hired by the Director of Finance shall be compensated at the rate of Six Dollars ($6.00) per hour on an as needed basis. Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements, including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the services authorized herein are essential to maintain effective governmental services.
