RESOLUTION N0. 88- 6 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />? A RESOLUTION DECLARING CAMINO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />AS THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE RIDGEBURY <br />BLVD. STORM CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT, AUTHO- <br />RIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO <br />EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID BIDDER, REJECTING ALL <br />OTHER BIDS RECEIVED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by law, Camino Construction Company is <br />hereby declared to be the lowest and best bidder for the Ridgebury <br />Blvd, storm culvert replacement project. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Director of Finance are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said bidder in <br />an amount not to exceed Twenty-Nine Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars <br />($29,150.00) provided that said contract is in accordance with the <br />specifications upon which the bid was received. <br />Section 3. All other bids received are hereby rejected. <br />Section 4s That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />- Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 5. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for <br />the reason that the purchase authorized herein is necessary to <br />maintain effective drainage throughout the municipality.
