. <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. gg-zg <br />INTRODUCED BY: MAYOR CARMEN AND COUNCIL AS A WHOLE <br />RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE ACTION OF COUNCIL IN <br />AWARDING A CONTRACT TO NATIONAL CASUALTY <br />COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE THOUSAND THRBE <br />HUNDRED EIGHTY ONE DOLLARS ($3,381.00) FOR PUBLIC <br />OFFICIALS LIABILITY INSURANCfi FOR THE PBRIOD <br />JUNE 2, 1988 TO JUNE 2, 1989 AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, <br />suthorized the Mayor and Council President to execute a contract <br />with National Casualty Company in the amount of Three Thousand <br />Three Hundred Eighty One Dollars ($3,381.00) £or the purchase of <br />Public Officisls Liability Insurance, for the period of .Tune 2, <br />1988 to June 2, 1989; <br />WHEREAS, the Council authorized the Mayor and Council <br />President to execute the contract, as aforesaid, because the <br />prior policy had expired; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council is now desirous of ratifying its <br />action in suthorizing the Mayor and Council President to execute <br />the contract, as aforesaid; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO THAT: <br />Section 1. The Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio <br />hereby ratifies its action of authorizing the Mayor to execute a <br />contract with the National Casualty Company in the amount of <br />Three Thousand Three Hundred Eighty One Dollars ($3,381.00) for <br />the purchase of Public Officials Liability Insurance, for the <br />period of June 2, 1988 to June 2, 1989. <br />Section 2. That the Council finds and determines that <br />all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of <br />this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; <br />and that deliberations of this Council and o£ its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code.
