RESOLUTION N0. 88- 35 <br />INTRODUCED BY: MAYOR CARPiEN AND COUNCIL AS A T,THOLE. <br />A RFSOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THS DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO <br />MAKE PAYNIENT TO ADLffit'S SPORTING GOODS WAREHOUSB <br />AND LETTSRING COMPANY IN TH6 AMOUNT OF <br />FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRSD EIGHTSC DOLLARS ($4,480.00) <br />FOR TH6 PURCHASE OF SOFTBALL SHIRTS ANID EQUIPMIT <br />AND DSCLARIdG AN EME[2GENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to <br />pay to Adler's Sporting Goods Warehouse and Lettering Company the sum of Four <br />Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Dollars ($4,480.00) for the purchase of softball <br />shirts and equipment to be used in the softball program. <br />SBCTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements af Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3: This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare <br />of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, £or the reason that the shirts and <br />equipment purchased herein is necessary to maintain the softball program.
