Resolution No. 918 <br />Introduced by: Mr. Busa <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO ADVANCE <br />TO MAYFIELD VILLAGE CURRENT TAX COLLECTIONS AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the balance in the General Fund of Mayfield Village has declined to <br />the point where it will be impossible to meet the Village payroll and to pay its <br />bills for the month of March, 1976; and <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been collected by the County of Cuyahoga from <br />the taxpayers of Mayfield Village to cover the March payroll and pay the March expenses; <br />NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. The County Auditor of Cuyahoga County is hereby requested to advance <br />to Mayfield Village, out of the current tax collections, funds to be used for general <br />fund purposes. <br />Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to file a certifi:ed copy <br />of this Resolution with the County Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 3. This Resolution is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure, neces- <br />sary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of <br />Mayfield Village and its inhabitantsq in order that the Village may pay its obligations <br />and keep its credit good, and this Resolution shall be in force and effect immediately <br />upon the date of its adoption. <br />Adopted: January 19, 1976. ?
