Resolution No. 9 28 <br />Introduced by: Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION URGING THE BOARA OF COUNTY CONLMISSIONERS <br />TO IMPROVE AND WIDEN THE INTERSECTION OF LANDER ROAD <br />AND RIDGEBURY BOULEVARD IN MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO <br />WfiEREAS, the Traffic Departments of Mayfield Village, the City of Mayfield <br />Heights, and the City of Highland Heights have after due study and consideration recom- <br />mended that the intersection of Lander Road and Ridgebury Boulevard, Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, be improved and widened to provide an additional lane for left turns; and <br />WHEREAS, said recommended improvement will minimize traffic hazards and secure <br />greater safety for motorists and pedestrians traversing the intersection. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l:. The Council of Mayfield Village urges the Board of County Com- <br />missioners of Cuyahoga County to improve and widen the intersection of Lander Road <br />and Ridgebury Boulevard to provide an additional lane for left turns. <br />Section 2. The Council further urges that the funding of this improvement <br />be paid for under the $5.00 motor vehicle license tax program. <br />Section 3. The Clerk is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this <br />Resolution to the Board of Count.y Commissioners of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 4.
