L/G'?? ?j (-v'?' /?J i'-'?": Resolution No. Introduced by: A RESOLUTION TO PROCEED WITH RESTRIPING OF CERTAIN ROADWAYS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village has advertized for bids for the restriping of certain roadways in the municipality pursuant to plans and speci- fications prepared by the Village Engineer; and WHEREAS, no bids were received in response to such advertisement for bids; and WHEREAS, the deterioration of striping on certain roadways jeopardizes and hampers the effective mavement of motor vehicles; and WHEREAS, the safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village and the protection of the public peace and safety requires that restriping be obtained immediately; and WHERAS, contractors have been requested informally to submit bids for re- striping of certain roadways in the municipality, and in response to such request ? for immediate bids, has offered to provide the service required pursuant to plans and specifications prepared by the Village Engineer; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: Section l. It is hereby declared and determined that the public peace, safety and welfare of the citizens of Mayfield Village require the restriping of certain roadways in the municipality pursuant to plans and specifications prepared by the Village Engineer without readvertising for bids. Section 2. The offer of , as aforesaid, to restripe certain roadways in the municipality pursuant to plans and specifications prepared by the Village Engineer is hereby determined to be the lowest and best bid, and is hereby accepted. Section 3. The Ma.yor and Finance Director are hereby instructed and authorized to enter into an agreement with said successful bidder and the Finance Director is her.eby authorized to issue his warrant and voucher in payment for the same. u
