Resolution No. 956 <br />Introduced by: C'otxnCil as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING REPORT OF ASSESS14ENT EQUALIZATION <br />BOARD WITH RESPECT TO THE ESTIMATED ASSESSMENTS FOR THE <br />IMPROVEMENT OF BEECH HILL ROAD NORTHERLY FROM ITS INTER- <br />SECTION WITH SENECA DRIVE A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY <br />685 FEET BY THE PAVING THEREOF, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, this Council did by Resolution #947, passed on July 19,1976, appoint <br />an Assessment Equalization Board to hear and determine all objections with respect to <br />the estimated assessments for the improvement of Beech Hill Road northerly from its <br />intersection with Seneca Drive a distance of approximately 685 feet by the paving <br />thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, said Assessment Equalization Board has met and heard and determined <br />all such objections and has submitted its report and recommendations to this Council; <br />now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br /> <br />Section 1. The report of the Assessment Equalization Board appointed by <br />Resolution #947 of this Council be and the same is hereby accepted and approved. <br />Section 2. The assessments as equalized by said Board and recommended by it <br />in said report are approved and said assessments are directed to be filed in the <br />office of the Clerk of this Council. <br />Section 3. Council hereby declares this Resolution to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and welfare of the <br />Village and its inhabitants by reason of the necessity to proceed with plans to correct <br />an undesirable condition of the roadway; wherefore, this Resolution shall be in full <br />force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed: September 2 m 1976 <br />Attest: <br />^.??
