Resolution No. 987 <br />Introduced by: Mr. Barclay <br />AI <br />B <br />RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE BID OF PROCESS <br />D PIPING SPECIALTIES, INC. IS THE LOWEST AND <br />ST BID TENDERED FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO UNDER- <br />OUND 1,000 GALLON FUEL STORAGE TANKS AND THAT THE <br />D OE PETROM CORPORATION IS THE LOWEST AND BEST BID <br />NDERED FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO PUMPS, AND DECLAR- <br />G AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. It is hereby determ:ined that the bid of Process and Piping <br />Specialties, Inc. for two undergrourid 1,000 gallon fuel storage tanks is the lowest <br />and best bid received after advertising in accordance withe the Charter. <br />Section 2. It is hereby determined that the bid of Petrom Corporation for <br />the purchase of tw pumps is the lowest and best bid received after advertising <br />in accordance withlthe Charter. <br />Section 3. The Mayor and the Finance Director be and they are hereby <br />authorized and dir cted to enter into a contract with said bidders in accordance <br />with specifications upon which such bid:was received. <br />Section 4. Council declares this to be an emergency Resolution n.ecessary for <br />the preservation of the public health, peace, safety and welfare of the Village and <br />its inhabitants, such emergency arising out of the necessity to provide fuel storage <br />for Police Departme?nt and Safety Department vehicles.• wherefore,this Resolution <br />shall be in full force from and after its passage an d) approval by the Mayor. <br />Adopted: Ma.y 16, 1977 <br />Attest: <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />, J7 /(I /I71;7
