Spetrino <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO AN AiMNDED AGREE,'lENT WITH MAYFIELD <br />VII,LAGE, OHIO, FOR JOINT MAINTENANCE OF THE <br />TRANSYT TRAFFIC CONTROL SY$TEM ON WILSON <br />MILLS ROAD AND DECLARING AN E.RGENCY. <br />i <br />WHEREaS, the Council of the City of Highland Heights, <br />Ohio, adopted Resolution No. 28-1987 on Apri1 14, 1987 <br />authorizing the Mayor to entar into an agreement with Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio for joint maintenance of the TRAC traffic control <br />system on Wilson Miils Road; and <br />WHEREaS, the said Agreement with Mayfield Village was <br />executed on April 20, 1987; and <br />WZ?EREAS, in conjunction with the reconstruction and <br />repavement of 'nilson Mills Roac the Cuyahoga County Engineer has <br />advised the City that if the dDDrOD21dt2 chenges are made in the <br />aforementioned Agr2ement wita tne conseat of both municipalities <br />then the County will cause to be installed a new traffic control <br />system tnat will improve trafiic control on Wilson Kills Road; <br />and <br />wnBRraS, the .*_aycr and Council have deter.nined that the <br />installaticn of the new traffic control systam will benefit the <br />municipality by improved traf::ic control; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED B° TiiB COUNCT_L OF THE CITY OF EIGiiLAiND ;;EIG:iTS, <br />OH2O, TFLAT: <br />Sec:.ion 1. The :?aycr is hereby authorized and directed <br />to enter into an amended agr=ement with Mayfield Village, Ohio <br />for the joint maintenance of the transyt traffic control system <br />to be instalied on Wilson idills Road in conjunction with the <br />Wilson Mills reconstruction project, a copy of said amended <br />agreement beinq attached hereto and incorporated herein as if <br />fully rewritten. <br />Section 2. That the Council finds and deter.nines that <br />all foxr.tal actions of this Conncil relating to the adoption of <br />this Ordinance have been taken at ooen meetings of this Council; <br />and that deliberations of this Council and of its coimmittees, <br />resulting in such formal action,'took place in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the reauirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. ' <br />- Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary £or the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Highland Heights
