<br />A RESOLUTION OBJECTING TO THE ISSUANCE OF A
<br />D-3__LYQUO~t . PERMIT TQ . MT ... VERN®N .ESTATES , , INC .

<br />WH;~R:e.AS, the Clerk of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, has
<br />received a notice dated July 22, 1965, from the Director of the
<br />Department of L~:quor Control of the State of Ohio of the filing of
<br />Application I-030$3, by Mt. Vernon Estates, Inc., for a D-3 Liquor
<br />Permit for use 'at the northeast corner of Interstate Route No. 271
<br />and Wilson Mi11s Road in the Village of Mayfield, County of. Cuyahoga,
<br />Ohio.;, and, _ - _ . , - -
<br />WIiEREAS, Council is not satisfied as to the suitability of
<br />the location„proposed, inasmuch as the Applicant is not the-owner or
<br />operator of a kio~el, restaurant, or other place of business within the
<br />contemplation of Section 4301.01 (B) (12) through (14), 4303.13
<br />through a~, 4303.25 and 4304.27-of_the Revised Code of Ohio, and the
<br />proposed premises constitute a vacant parcel of_,land with no construc-
<br />tion started.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BF, IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
<br />VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, ,CUYAHOGA, COUNTY, . .OHIO.,, THAT:
<br />Seca 1. - Council of the 'Vllagelof 'Mayfield, Ohio, hereby
<br />objects to_t~ iissuance of a D-3 Liquor Permit to Mt. Vernon Estates,
<br />Inc., at the northeast corner of Interstate Route No. 271 and Wilson
<br />Mi11s Road in the Village of Mayfield, Ohio,__on the basis of suitabil-
<br />ity of ,the location described..in the notice received from the Depart-
<br />ment of Liquor Control.
<br />Sec. 2. The Clerk is hereby directed to send to the
<br />Director o~Department of Liquor Control two certified copies of
<br />this Resolution, ,together with_a written statement, to be signed by
<br />the Mayor, of Council's reasons for objecting to the issuance of said
<br />permit, a copy-,of which statement has been filed with this Council
<br />and is hereby approved. _.
<br />Sec. 3. This Resolution is hereby deemed to b e an emergency
<br />measure, necessary :for the immediate preservation of the public
<br />morals, peace,' health, safety and welfare of the Village and its
<br />inhabitants, in that the public welfare and morals will be endangered
<br />unless the objections of this Council are transmitted to the Director
