RESOLUTION No. 671 <br />By Mr. Walker <br />A RESOLUTION OBJECTING TO THE ISSUANCE OF A D-5 LIQUOR <br />PERMIT.TO.MT. VERNON ESTATES, INC. AT THE NORTHEAST <br />CORNER OF INTERSTATE 271 AND WILSON MIIS,S ROAD.I_N_THE <br />VILLAGE OF_MAYFILZD, OHIO... _ _ __ _ _ _ <br />WEIEREAS, the Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of i~layfield, Ohio, has <br />received a, Notice dated March 9, 1966, from the Director of the Department of <br />Liquor Control of the State of Ohio of the filing ,of Application 163084 by <br />Mt. Vernon Estates, Inc. for a D-5 Liquor Permit for use at the Northeast <br />corner of Interstate. 271 and Wilson-.Mills Road in the Village of Mayfield, <br />Ohio; and <br />GTHEREAS, Council is not satisf ied as to the suitability of the location <br />proposed, inasmuch as the applicant is not the owner or operator of a night <br />club, hotel, restaurant, or other place of business within the contemplation of <br />Sections 4303.01 (B) (12) through (14) 4303.13 through 4303.16, 4303.25 and <br />4304.27, and 4303.18 of the Revised Code of Ohio, and the proposed premises <br />constitute a vacant parcel of land with no construction started nor appli- <br />cation for permit made. <br />NOGT THEP.EFOR$ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, <br />CUY,A,HOGA COUNTY , OHIO , THAT : .. _ - _ .... - _ _ _ . <br />Sec. 1. The Council of the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, hereby objects to <br />the issuance of a_D-5 liquor permit to Mt. Vernon Estates, Inc. at the Northeast <br />corner of Interstate 271 and tdilson Mi11s Road, in the Village of Mayfield, Ohio, <br />on the basis of suitability of the location described in the Notice received <br />from the Department of Liquor Control. <br />Sec. 2. The Clerk is hereby directed to send to the Director of the <br />Department of Liquor Control two certified copies of this Resolution, together <br />with a written statement, to be signed by the Mayor, of Councils reasons for <br />objecting to the issuance of said permit, a copy of which statement has been <br />file d. with this Council and is hereby approved. <br />Sec. 3. This Resolution is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the. immediate preservation of the public morals, peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, in that the <br />public welt are and morals will be endangered unless the objections of this <br />Council are transmitted to the Director of Liquor Control within 30 days after <br />the date of receipt of the notice sent by him, and this resolution shall be in <br />
