RESOLUTION N0. 89-17 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council <br />A RBSOLUTION <br />APPROVIIdG ADID ADOPTING iTNIFORH RULSS, <br />REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS <br />FOR THE DESIGN APID CONSTRUCTION OF <br />SEWSRAGE IMPROVEPISPITS <br />AND DECLARING AN ffiffiZGENCY <br />{HEREAS, a Committee on Uniform Standards £rom various involved agencies <br />has formulated standards to guide the design and construction of sewerage <br />£acilities; and <br />WHEREAS, it is desirable for Mayfield Village to comply with such stan- <br />dards and regulations in order to comply with the stated purpose of govern- <br />ment, namely: Provision of quality systems for the preservation of the public <br />health and wel£are; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RFSOLVSD BY THS WUNCII, OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />? <br />SECTION 1. Mayfield Village hereby approves and adopts the Uni£orm <br />Rules, Regulations and Standards for Design and Construction of Sewerage <br />Improvements as formulated by the Committee on Uniform Standards dated May 11, <br />1978, and all amendments thereto, which are on £ile at the Village Aall and <br />available for inspection or copying, the same being incorporated herein as if <br />totally rewritten. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council ielating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations o£ this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 0£ the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of <br />the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio for for the reasons stated in the <br />preamble.
