RESOLUTION No. 687 <br />By Mr. Davis <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ASSESSMENT E(~UALI2ATION BOARD <br />TO HEAR OBJECTIONS RELATIVE TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF WILSON <br />MI3.~LS ROAD_BY.THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A <br />SIDET4ALK. _ _ <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCII~ OF THE VILLAGE OF 1~1AYFTELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />STATE OF OHIO, THAT,: _ <br />Sec. 1. Harold F. Rassau, J. Edward Strater and John Robert Cotton, <br />three disinterested freeholders of the Village of riayf field, Ohio, are hereby <br />appointed to act as an Assessment Equalization Board to hear and determine all <br />timely written objections to the Estimated Assessments heretofore reported to <br />this Council of the cost of improving Wilson Mills Road, and to equalize the <br />same as to them seems proper, in accordance with law, and with Resolution No. <br />674 adopted by the Council on Pay 16,:1966. <br />Sec. 2. The Board shall first meet for the above purpose at the Mayfield <br />Village Hall, 6621 Wilson Mills Road, Mayf field, Ohio, on the 8th day of September, <br />1966, at. 8:00 oiclock p.M. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, and upon completion <br />of such equalization shall report such equalized assessment to Council. <br />Sec. 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of said Village and its inhabitants, and for the further reason . <br />that the immediate construction of said improvement is necessary to eliminate <br />existing hazards to pedestrian traffic as soon as possible, and this <br />resolution shall be in full force and effect from and immediately after its <br />adoption. <br />Adopted this 15th day of ,August, 1966. <br />Mayor, President of Council <br />Attest; <br />(SEAL) Clerk - Treasurer <br />
