RESOLUTION N0. ~~~ <br />By : T•4r . _ DAMS <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO <br />ADVAPICE THE SULvI OF $ 20, 000.00 TO THE VILLAGE <br />OF HAYFIELD OUT OF CURRENT T COLLECTIONS. <br />WITEREAS, the balance in the General Fund of the Village of hayfield <br />has declined to the point where it will be impossible to meet the Village <br />payroll and to pay its bills for the month of March, 1968. <br />WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been collected by the County of <br />Cuyahoga from the taxpayers or the Village of rayfield to cover much more <br />than is required to meet the March payroll and pay the March expenses; and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk and the Village of T~iayfield~estimates that the <br />sum of at least $ 20,000.00 is needed from current tax collections to pay <br />current expenses. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT P.ESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, THAT: <br />Section 1. The County Auditor of Cuyahoga County is hereby re- <br />quested to advance to the Village of Mayfield, out of the current tax col- <br />lections, the sum of at least $ 20,000.00, to be used for general fund pur- <br />poses. <br />Section 2, The Clerk is hereby authorized to f-ile a Certified Copy <br />of this F.esolution with the County Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />.Section 3. This Resolution is hereby deemed to be an emergency <br />measure, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants,. in order <br />that the Village may pay its obligations and keep its credit good, and this <br />Resolution shall be in force and effect immediately upon the date of its <br />adoption. <br />Adopted this 19th day of February, 1968, <br />~ /. <br />o !'4~ <br />ilayo - P sident of Council <br />ATTEST: <br />(Se-~~ Clerk-Treasurer <br />
