RESOLUTION N0. 89- 32 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />TO VIRGINIA L. PORTER <br />WHEREAS, Virginia L. Porter was appointed Clerk of the Lyndhurst <br />Municipal Court in 1952; and <br />WHEREAS, Virginia L. Porter, has diligently and faithfully served the <br />Lyndhuist Municipal Court for over ltaenty-six years; and <br />WHEREAS, Virginia L. Porter, during her tenure as Clerk of Court, has led <br />and supervised the growth of the Clerk's office with service and dedication, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Virginia L. Porter should not be allowed to leave the position <br />as Clerk of Courts of Lyndhurst Municipal Court without an expression of the <br />appreciation she rightfully deserves; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, on behalf of <br />themselves and all o£ the employees and residents of the municipality, hereby <br />? express their deep appreciation and thanks to Virginia L. Porter for her <br />faithful and devoted service to the Lyndhurst Municipal Court and the <br />municipalities included therein. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to <br />prepare duplicate original copies of this Resolution. One such original shall <br />be presented to Virginia L. Porter as a small token of the esteem in which she <br />is held by the residents, officials and employees o£ Mayfield Village, Ohio. <br />The other original shall be placed in the permanent records of the Village as <br />a lasting tribute to Virginia L. Porter. <br />SECTION 3.
