Ub/ 1j/iSy <br />RESOLUTION N0. 89-38 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />' A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE <br />TO MAKE PAYMENT TO LOVE INSURANCE AGENCY, INC. <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF TfiIRTY-FOUR TfiOUSAND SL'VIN HUNDRFn <br />FORTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($34,745) FOR THE PURCAASE OF <br />AUTOMOBILE AND GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE FROM <br />PERSONAL SERVICE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THE PERIOD <br />JUNE 1, 1989, TO JUNE 1, 1990, AND <br />DECLAI2ING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to <br />pay to Love Insurance Agency, Inc. the sum of Thirty-Four Thousand Seven <br />Hundred Forty-Five Dollars ($34,745) for the purchase of automobile and <br />general liability insurance from Personal Insurance Company for the period of <br />June 1, 1989, to June 1, 1990, in accordance with the proposal for such <br />insurance made by Love Insurance Agency, Inc. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />? necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of <br />the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the insurance <br />purchased herein is necessary to protect municipal assets.
