NOTnT THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, TWO THIRDS OF ALL THE MEMBERS ELECTED THERETO CONCURRING THEREIN, THATe Sec. 1. The amount of taxes which may be raised by the levy o t~ awes within the ten (10) mill limitation authorized by Section 5705.02 of the Ohio Revised Code will be insufficient to provide an adequate amount for the necessary requirements of said Village of Mayfield for payment of current expenses and it is necessary for the purpose of providing additional funds for current expense that taxes be levied on the taxable prop- erty in said village for a period of five years at a rate in excess of such maximum rate authorized by said Section 5702.02 of the Ohio Revised Code. Sec. 2. The question of the renewal of a le vy of two and seven tent s~(~ mills on each c~olla-r of the tax valuation of the taxable property on the tax duplicate within the Village of Mayfield, which amounts to 27~ on each $100.00 of valuation of said property, for a period of five years, beginning with. the tax duplicate year 1970, for current expenses for the Village of Mayfield tinder the provisions of Section 5705.19 of the Ohio Revised Code, be submitted to the electors of the Village of Mayfield at the general election to be held on the 3rd day of November, 1970, as authorized by law, and said election shall be held at the regular places of voting in said district as established by the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, between the hours of 6:30 o'clock A. M. and 6;30 o'clock P. M., Eastern Stan- dard Time, and that said election shall be conducted, canvassed and certified in the manner provided by la`a.
