RESOLUTION N0:" 87 2 - <br />BY: MR. LEECH <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CLERK-TREASURER <br />TO CERTIFY TO THE COUNCIL THE ESTIMATED LIFE <br />OF THE PROPERTY AND IMPROVEMENTS FOR t,]HICH <br />BONDS ARE TO BE ISSUED IN THE SUM OF EIGHT <br />THOUSAND DOLLARS ($8,000.00) FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF PAYING A PORTION OF THE COST OF MOVING <br />THE PUBLIC UTILITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />WIDENING OF SOM CENTER ROAD, AND ALSO TO <br />CERTIFY THE MAXIMUM MATURITY OF SUCH BONDS, <br />IN ACCORDANCE WITH REVISED CODE SECTION 133.21 <br />AS TO THE MAXIMUM MATURITY OF THE NOTE TO BE <br />ISSUED IN ANTICIPATION OF SUCH BONDS. <br />WHEREAS, this Council contemplates issuing $8,000.00 of bonds to b e <br />issued for the purpose of paying a portion of the cost of moving the public <br />utilities in connection with the widening of SOM Center Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Sections 133.24 and 133.21 of the Revised Code of Ohio require <br />the fiscal officer of the Village of Mayfield to certify to this Council his <br />estimate as to the life of the property to be purchased from the proceeds of said <br />bonds, and also-to certify to this Council the maximum maturity of such bonds, in <br />accordance with Section 133.20 and also the maximum maturity of notes issued in <br />anticipation of such bonds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the Council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, that: <br />Section 1. The.~fiscal officer be, and he hereby is, requested to certify <br />to this Council his conclusions as to the estimated life of the property proposed <br />to be purchased from the proceeds of said bonds and also to certify to this Council <br />the maximum maturity of such bonds and the maximum maturity of the notes issued in <br />anticipation of such bonds. <br />Section 2. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the Village of riayfield and its inhabitants because of the urgency of <br />widening SOM Center Road in order to safeguard life and property on the highway, <br />and this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of <br />its adoption. <br />ATTEST <br />(SEAL) CLERK-TREASURER <br />Adopted this 19th day of October, 1970. <br />~ ~ a~ <br />~. <br />~~ r`: <br />f;: <br />OF COUNCIL <br />
