1501.11 FIRE PREVENTION CODE 6 <br />(b) Except for public and private mobile fire trucks' no peY'8oa Shall 88rvioea teat, <br />repair or install for profit any fire protect;ton or fire fighting equipment without a certificate <br />issued by the Ohio Fire Marshal. (ORC 3737.65) <br />1501.11 COPIES. <br />Copies of Codes as adopted in this chapter are on $le with the Council Clerk for <br />inspection by the public, and also on file in the County Law Library, and the Clerk has copies <br />available for distribution to the public at cost, <br />1501.12 CONFLICT. <br />(a) The Ohio Basic Building Code shall supersede and govern any order, standard, <br />rule or regulation of the Ohio Fire Code or the Divfston of State Fire Msrehal, Department <br />of Commerce in all caaes where auch orders, etaudards, rulee or regulations are in <br />conflict with the Ohio Basic Building Caie. (OAC 4101:2-1-04(B)) - <br />(b) In all other cases of conflict between the Ohio Fire Code and any other Municipal <br />ordinance or technical code adopted thereby, the more restrictive provision shall govern. <br />1501.13 AMENDMENTS. <br />The Ohio Fire Code as adopted herein is modified by the enactment, amendment or <br />deletion of the following provisions as respectively indicated, which changes are hereby <br />adopted as set forth lierein: <br />OFC §I'-504.4 entitled "Lighting" is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />F-504.4 Lighting (Amended): <br />(A) Stairways, hallways and other means of egresss including exterior open spaces <br />to or through which an exit way leads, shall be kept adequately lighted at all times that the <br />building served thereby is occupied. <br />(B) Each room, hall or auditorium having a capacity of fifty per,sons, and each place <br />of business open to the public after 6:00 pm m. and each interior room where people work <br />without natural light and each apartment house shall be provided with lights meeting the <br />provisions of Sections F-504.1 through F-504. 3, inclusive, and so located and supplied <br />with current as to provide, with one service interrupted, emergency'illumination without <br />appreciable delay. Such installation may consist of any of the following: <br />(1) An emergency lighting system, independent of the general lighting system with <br />provision for automatically transferring, by means of devices approved for the <br />purpose, the emergency system from a defective supply to another supply; <br />(2) Two or inore separate and complete systems wiLh independent current supply, <br />each prodiding emergency lighting. 'Unless both systems are kept lighted, <br />means shall be provided for automatically lighting each system upon failure <br />of the other; <br />(3) Any other installation approved as adequate for the pu.rpose of this section in <br />the manner required by this Fire Prevention Cocle; or
