M.V. ORDINANCE N0. 87-1 Page -2- (c) The compensation of the Suilding Commissioner/ Service Director shall be established by the Council from time-to-time. Section 2. Existing Sections 131.01 (Administrative Assistant), 137.01 (Service Director) and 1301.01 (Building Commissioner) are hereby repealed in their entirety. Section 3. Existing Sections 131e01, 137.01 and 1301.01 are hereby repealed in their entirety. Section 4. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance in whole or in part are hereby repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with this ordinance. Section 5. That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 6. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for the reason that the position created herein is necessary to maintain effective governmental services. It shall therefore take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than four (4) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law.
