ORDINANCE N0. 87-4 1/15/87 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />AN -RDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1(A)(2) OF ORDINANCE <br />NO 85-27 PERTAINING TO WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER <br />TER S--AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR EMPLOYEES <br />OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, SO AS TO PROVIDE <br />ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR FULL-TIME POLICE <br />OFFICERS WHO HAVE EMT or EMT-P CERTIFICATIONS, <br />REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT . <br />HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Section 1(A)(2) of Ordinance No. 85-27, <br />enacted by the Council of Mayf ield V illage, Ohio, on December 23, <br />1985, is hereby amended to read as follows: (Deleted material appears <br />like th-is and new mater.ial appears like THIS) , <br />Secta.on l. Effective January 1, 1986, the wages, <br />benefits and other terms and conditions of employment <br />for employees of Mayfield Village, Ohio, shall be as <br />follows: <br />A. Wages <br />* * * <br />2. Police Department <br />* * * <br />(i) ALL FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICERS WHO OBTAIN -AND . <br />MAINTAIN THE FOLLOWING CERTIFICATIONS SHALL . <br />RECEIVE ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION AS INDICATED: <br />(1) EMT -- $600.00 PER YEAR (2) EMT-P -- $1,200.00 PER YEAR <br />Section 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this <br />ordinance in whole or in part are hereby repealed to the extent <br />necessary to avoid conflict with this ordinance. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that'all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of ttiis <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took p ace in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 f the Ohio Revised Code.
