RESOLUTION N0. 87-24 <br />,~ <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF A SUM <br />NOT TO EXCEED ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS (511,000.00) <br />FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A BIKE PATH AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />.Section 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, do hereby authorize an expenditure not to exceed the sum of <br />Eleven Thousand Dollars (511,000.00) from the Capital Improvement Fund <br />for the purpose of constructing a bike path adjacent to S.O.M. Center <br />Road within the municipality. <br />Section 2. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />L[~Qs~-C <br />'~ S o Basile, C uncil President <br />First Reading: 3/26/87 <br />Section 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for <br />the reason that the expenditure authorized herein must be certified tc <br />the State of Ohio Department of Transportation in order for <br />construction to begin.
