M.V. ORDINANCE N0. 87-27 Page -2- (A) DELINQUENT-FIRST OFFENSE-$25.00 (B) DELINQUENT-SECOND OFFENSE-$50.00 (C) DELINQUENT-THIRD OFFENSE-$100.00 (2) FOR PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, TAXES ARE DELINQUENT IF THEY ARE NOT PAID BY THE DUE DATES ESTABLISHED BY THIS ORDINANCE. A TAX PAYMENT THAT IS DELINQUENT IS DEEMED TO BE A SINGLE OFFENSE FOR PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION REGP,RDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF YEARS THAT PAYMENT IS DELINQUENT. EACH SUBSEQUENT PAYMENT THAT IS DELINQUENT SHALL BE A SEPARATE OFFENSE. Section 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance in whol.e or in part are hereby repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with this ordinance. Section 3__, That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal actiono took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121022 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of riiayfield Village for the reason that the amendments made herein will provide for more effective income tax collection for the municipality. It shall therefore take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than four (4) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by lawm . anto Basile, Council President First Reading: 8/17/8.7.
