RESOLUTION N0. 87-42 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT <br />OF COUNCIL TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE <br />WALTER H. DRANE COMPANY FOR THE ANNUAL UPDATING OF <br />THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO. <br />WHEREAS, the municipality has recently completed the <br />recodification of its Codified Ordinances; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined that it is in <br />the best interests of effective municipal government to enter into a <br />contract for annual updating of the Codified Ordinances in order to <br />make available the most current actions of the Council of the Village; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with The Walter H. <br />Drane Company for the annual updating of the Codified Ordinances of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, for a period of three (3) years. <br />Section 2. The contract authorized in Section 1 of this <br />Resolution, a copy of said contract being attached hereto, marked <br />Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein as if fully rewritten, shall not <br />exceed the amounts set forth in said contract. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 4.
