RESOLUTION N0. 57-54 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE WALTER H. DRANE COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF FOURTEEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SIXTY NINE DOLLARS AND FIFTY SEVEN CENTS ($14,169.57) FOR RECODIFICATION OF THE VILLAGE CODIFIED OP.DINANCES AND OTHER SERVICES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village previously adopted Resolution No. 83-20 authorizing the Mayor and Director of Finance to execute a contract with The Walter H. Drane Company for the updating of the Village Codified Ordinances; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of Resolution No. 83-20 and the execution of the contract with The Walter H. Drane Company it became apparent that the volume of material to be included in the update was so extensive and voluminous that updating was no longer practical; and WHEREAS, after reaching that determination the Council, by Motion, authorized The Walter H. Drane Company to proceed with a total recodification of the Village Codified Ordinances; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council further determine that The Walter H. Drane Company should provide to the municipality one hundred (100) copies of the Codified Ordinances, two hundred fifty (250) copies of the Planning & Zoning Code and one hundred (100) copies of the Building Code; and WHEREAS, the total charges for the recodification together with the items ordered by the municipality total Fourteen Thousand One Hundred Sixty Nine Dollars and Fifty Seven Cents ($14,169.57); now, therefore, BE IT RESOLV ED BY THE COUNCIL OF P7AYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to pay to The Walter H. Drane Company the sum of Fourteen Thousand One Hundred Sixty Nine Dollars and Fifty Seven Cents (814,169.57) as and for the services referred to hereinabove. Section 2,_ That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for
