Carmen AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 313.09 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF' HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, SO AS TO PERMIT A RIGHT TURN ON A RED SIGNAL EAST-~ BOUND ON WILSON MILLS ROAD AT SOM CENTER ROAD' DURING THE PERIOD OF THE WILSON MILLS RECON- STRUCTION PROJECT AND DECT,ARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, has previously enacted Section 313.09 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, prohibiting right turns on a red signal at certain intersections within the municipality; and WHEREAS, Section 313.09(a)(2) of said Codified Ordinances prohibits a right turn on a red signal eastbound on Wilson Mills Road at SOM Center Road between the hours of 8:00 A. M, and 8:00 P.M.; and WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has recommended that, during the course of the Wilson Mills Reconstruction Project, the prohibition against a right turn on a red signal at the aforementioned inter- section be deleted in order to provide for more effective traffic control; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and prohibition against a right turn _ intersection following completion Project; now, therefore, Council intend to reinstate the on a red signal at the aforementioned of the Wilson Mills Reconstruction BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. Section 313.09 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio; is hereby amended to read as follows: (Deleted material appears like ~h~e and new material appears like THIS) Chapter 313 Traffic Control Devices 313.09 No Right Turn on Red Signal.
