Ch. 1309 <br />701.01 ENCLOSED STRUCTURES REQUIRED. . <br />Every person, firm or corporation who operates a commercial enterprise involving <br />the use of containers for th.e storage of garbage, rubbish or other waste materials, <br />which containers are stored outdoors, in plain sight from a public thoroughfare or a <br />residential dwelling shall provide an enclosed structure within which the containers <br />shall be stored. The structure shall be constructed out of split face block, face brick, <br />wood or any other material approved by the Architectural Review Board as to conform <br />to the primary structure that the waste container storage structure is being built <br />to serve. The structure shall have a concrete slab as its floor. The structure shall <br />be constructed so as to allow sufficient ventilation to prevent the accumulation of <br />offensive odors and to allow sufficient ease of access to permit entry and to permit <br />cleaning thereof. Passed 11-16-87.) <br />701.02 BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED.. <br />Every person, firm or corporation required by this chapter to erect an enclosed <br />structure for refuse containers shall submit plans and specifications to the Architectural <br />Review Board in accordance with Section 1305.10 of the Codified Ordinances. After <br />approval is granted by the Board, the applicant shall obtain a building permit from the <br />Building Commissioner prior to any construction in accordance with Section 1309.01 to <br />1309.99 of the Codified Ordinances.
