13 <br />CHAPTER 105 <br />Public Records <br />105.01 Purpose. <br />105.02 Definitions. <br />105.03 Procedure. <br />CROSS REFERENCES <br />State law provisions -see Ohio R.C. Ch. 149 <br />Records Commission -see ADM. Ch. 157 <br />105.01 PURPOSE. <br />The purpose of this chapter is to establish a reasonable and orderly procedure for <br />compliance with the provisions of Ohio R.C. Chapter 149 entitled "Documents; Reports <br />and Records", as it exists as of the date of passage hereof or as may be amended from <br />time to time. (Ord. 82-25. Passed 6=21-82. ) <br />105.02 DEFINITIONS. <br />There is hereby adopted, by reference, all of the definitions found in Ohio R.C. <br />149.43(A) as it exists as of the date of passage hereof or as may be amended from <br />time to time. (Ord. 82-25. Passed 6-21-82. ) <br />105.03 PROCEDURE. <br />(a) Any person requesting that any document, report or record be made available <br />for inspection pursuant to the terms, conditions and limitations of Ohio R.C. Chapter <br />149 shall first put such request in waiting anal submit the same to:the office of the <br />Mayor. Such written request shall be dated and shall specify the documents, reports <br />or records reque"sted, Except as herein"otherwise provided, .the requested documents, <br />reports or records shall be made available to the requesting party within a reasonable_ <br />time, such reasonable time not to exceed three business days from"the date of the <br />written request. The requesting party shall be permitted to use available space within <br />the Municipality's municipal complex to inspect the materials during the Municipality's <br />business day and subject to the demands of municipal business. <br />(b) If the written request for documents, reports or records concerns information <br />not readily available because of its volume or age then compliance with such request <br />may exceed the three day limitation but shall still be produced within a reasonable time <br />subject to the demands of municipal business. <br />(Ord. 82-25.
