133.03 ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 32 <br />(4) Police Flash Account: Chief of Police. <br />(5) Investigative Flash Account: Detective assigned by the Chief of Police. <br />The custodian shall assure that the petty cash is kept in a safe place. <br />(d) Whenever an individual's appointment as custodian is terminated, the account <br />shall be replenished and the impressed amount turned over to the treasurer or other <br />disbursing officer.. <br />(e) The Director of Finance is to maintain a record of the custodians for the <br />various Petty Cash Accounts and is authorized to perform periodic audit reviews <br />concerning the amount and reconciled items held by the custodians. <br />(f) The above authorized amount of one thousand fifty dollars. ($1,050) shall be <br />.accounted for in the General Fund and is a Balance Sheet account for the General <br />Fund. (Ord. 87-46. Passed 12-21-87.) <br />133.03 AUTHORIZED SIGNATiJRES. <br />(a) All checks and withdrawal slips on bank accounts of the Municipality shall be <br />signed by either the Finance Director or the Assistant Finance Director, and either the <br />Mayor or the President of Council, or, if both the Mayor and President of Council are <br />unavailable, then either the Administrative Assistant or the Secretary to the Mayor, <br />provided that the Mayor has designated, in writing, one of the aforementioned to sign <br />on his behalf. (Ord. 84-21. Passed 5-21-84.) _ <br />(b) No signature required by subsection (a) hereof shall be affixed, to a check or <br />withdrawal slip unless specifically authorized in writing by signature or. initials of the <br />Director of Law or an Assistant Director of Law. No person, firm or corporation <br />dealing with the Municipality shall be required to inquire into the validity of such <br />signatures, the liability created herein being personal to any person affixing a signature <br />in violation of this subsection. (Res. 80-16. Passed 3=25-80..) <br />133.04 FIRE DAMAGED STRUCTURE; REMOVAL OR REPAIR .SECURING. FUND. <br />The Municipality hereby authorizes the procedure described in Ohio R.C. 3929.86 <br />(c) and (d) to be implemented whereby no insurance company doing business in the State <br />shall pay a claim of a named insured for fire damage to a structure located within <br />this Municipality unless there has been full compliance with the applicable provisions <br />of Ohio R.C. 3929.86. The Director of Finance is hereby designated as the officer <br />authorized to carry out the duties of Ohio R.C. 3929.86. The Clerk of Council shall <br />file a certified copy of this section with the State Superintendent of Insurance. <br />(Ord. 87-12. Passed 11-23-87.) <br />133.05 INVESTMENT INTEREST CREDITED. <br />All interest earned by the investment of pooled cash or other resources of <br />the Municipality shall be credited to the General Fund to be used to finance the <br />general services of the Municipality.
