There is hereby enacted Section 1301.06 of the Codified <br />Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, which shall read as follows: <br />Section 1301.06: Duties of the Landscape Architect <br />(a) At such times as the Building Commissioner/Service <br />Director shall deem it appropriate, the Landscape <br />Architect shall review the plans submitted <br />including, but not limited to, written reports, <br />sketches, models, photographs, land-use studies <br />and cost estimates. <br />(b) In reviewing such plans, recommendations by the <br />Landscape Architect shall be made to determine the <br />optimal arrangement of topography, vegetation, <br />walkways and landscape amenities. Such design <br />shall not only be functional but beautiful and <br />environmentally appropriate as well. <br />(c) The Landscape Architect shall provide for a <br />detailed report of all his proceedings and <br />shall submit a copy of his recommendations to the <br />Building Commissioner/Service Director and the <br />developer or contractor. <br />SECTION 3. Section 1309.08 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio, is hereby amended to read as follows: (Deleted material <br />appears like this and new material appears like THIS) <br />1309.08: Landscaping Plan Required; FEE <br />No building permit shall be granted for the con- <br />struction of an apartment, commercial or industrial <br />development or any other structure or development, other <br />than for single resident buildings, unless there is <br />submitted with the application a landscaping plan <br />prepared by an architect registered under the laws of <br />one of the states of the United States of America, in <br />connection with the proposed construction. The land- <br />scaping plans shall be approved by the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission, Council, LANDSCAPING ARCHITECT, and <br />the Architectural Review Board. <br />
