AS A WHOLE. <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />A2~SH~IDING SECTION 1181.07 (c) OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />PERTAINING TO REAR YARDS IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS AND <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Existing Subsection 1181.07(c) of the Codified Ordinances <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio, entitled "Rear Yards in Residential Districts," is <br />hereby amended by providing certain restrictions on accessory building sizes <br />so that the new Subsection 1181.07(c) will read as follows: <br />(c) REAR YARDS IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS. <br />(1) In a Class U-1 or U-2 District, every building <br />erected shall have a rear yard. The least dimension of <br />such rear yard shall be twenty percent (209) of the <br />depth of the lot, but such least dimension need not be <br />more than forty (40) feet, provided such least dimension <br />shall in no case be less than the height of the build- <br />ing. On a corner lot where the rear line is identical <br />with the side line of the interior lot, no accessory <br />building, if detached from the main building, shall be <br />erected within twenty-five (25) feet of any street line <br />or within ten (10) feet of the rear lot line. <br />(,2) The total area of an accessory building in a <br />Class U-1 or U-2 District shall be governed by Section <br />1157.06 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, that provide such accessory use or located upon <br />the same lot with the building or use to which it is <br />accessory. In a U-1 or U-2 District, the total area <br />of any above-ground structure, not including swimming <br />pools or buildings directly related to the use or opera- <br />tion of swimming pools, erected separately from the main <br />use structure or any one lot shall not exceed: (i) four <br />hundred eighty (480) square feet, if its use is for <br />storage of a motor .vehicle, recreation vehicle or other <br />vehicle; (ii) six hundred seventy-five (675) square <br />feet, if its use is for storage of a motor vehicle, <br />recreation vehicle or other vehicle, but also includes <br />a tool shed or other storage area; (iii) one hundred <br />ninety-two (192) square feet, if its use is as a tool <br />shed or other storage building. <br />
