,~. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 88-42 . <br />INTRODUCED BY: MAYOR CARMEN & THE .ENTIRE .COUNCIL. <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 1385.01 OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />PERTAINING TO PERMITS FOR GARAGE AND PUBLIC SALES <br />IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS AND <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Existing Section 1385.01 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, is amended to read as follows: (Deleted material <br />appears like this and new material appears like THIS.) <br />c:AAwrRR 1385 <br />Garage and Public Sales <br />1385.01 PERMIT REQUIRED. <br />No person, being the owner or occupant or in control <br />or having the management of any residential parcel of real <br />property located within the Village, shall hold or conduct <br />or permit to be held or conducted upon such property the <br />sale of any household goods, equipment, utensils, appli- <br />ances, personal clothing or effects or other similar <br />personal property unless a permit has been granted <br />therefor and the sale is conducted in accordance with <br />the provisions of this Chapter. A permit shall NOT be <br />required where six (6) items or less are offered for <br />sale. <br />SECTION 2. All prior Ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance, in <br />whole or in part, are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with <br />this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
