02/24/89 ORDINANCE N0. 89- 9 <br /> <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and the Entire Council <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENIDING SECTION 131.05(c) OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIII.ll VILIAG13, OHIO, <br />RE-ESTABLISHING THE COMPSNSATION OF HUMAN SERVICES DIRECTOR, <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HERSWITH <br />AND DECLARING AN ffiMERGENCY <br />BL IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIEI.D VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Existing Subsection 131.05(c) of the Codified Ordinances of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio,is hereby amended by increasing the compensation of the <br />Human Services Director so that the new Subsection 131.05(c) will read as <br />follows: <br />(c) The Human Services Director shall be compensated <br />at the rate of Six Dollars and Fifty Cents ($6.50) <br />per hour provided, however, that the compensation <br />shall not exceed fifteen (15) hours per week. <br />SECTION 2. Al1 prior ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance, in <br />whole or in part, are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with <br />this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare <br />of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the Ordinance <br />re-establishes the compensation of a necessary municipal employee.
